You are your own boss and control your schedule and your communication methods with each family/client. As a SLPA, you get a Supervisor to support you and a mentor SLPA who you can learn tons from. The management team sends out emails to check-in, encourage, and support the clinicians. I joined the team as teletherapy began to end (due to COVID-19) and there has been TONS of support for all my questions & concerns with home-health services. If you're debating applying - do it. You'll be happy you did.
