You are your own boss and control your schedule and your communication methods with each family/client. As a SLPA, you get a Supervisor to support you and a mentor SLPA who you can learn tons from. The management team sends out emails to check-in, encourage, and support the clinicians. I joined the team as teletherapy began to end (due to COVID-19) and there has been TONS of support for all my questions & concerns with home-health services. If you’re debating applying – do it. You’ll be happy you did.

This is my first job out of college and my supervisor has been able to really guide me through all of my clients and been my saving grace through navigating this tough career choice. Helps build you as a professional and they are there to support you the whole way through! The schedule is flexible and the company is completely understanding of personal schedule needs.

I have been working at Not Only Words Therapy as an Employee (not a contractor) for over 2 years now and have loved every minute of it.
